About the teamRevenue Optimization is an organization that sits within Business Operations focusing on maximizing revenue and guiding our pricing strategy across Premier Agent’s two pricing models: Flex and Market Based Pricing (MBP). The Business Intelligence team oversees monetization health across both the Flex and MBP marketplace via reporting and analysis. The team is currently comprised of four analysts and we’re looking to add a fifth to manage projects across the business.
On the Premier Agent Business Operations team, we bring the Zillow Premier Agent programs and products to life. We set our frontline teams up for success with the right tools, processes, data and strategic advice, establish the operational systems required for execution, and develop solutions in close collaboration with our cross-functional partners.
About the role
Zillow Group is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Premier Agent Business within the Revenue Optimization team. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will leverage data to make meaningful recommendations that drive the business line forward. This high-visibility role will serve a key function by partnering with internal business leaders across Sales, Ops, Finance, Data Science, and Product to ensure the long-term viability of Premier Agent across both the MBP and Flex pricing programs. Ideal candidates are strategic analytical problem solvers who are results driven and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail. They will have a proven track record of developing creative solutions to complex and ambiguous problems, and effective cross-team collaboration across functions and levels.This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
Who you are
Partner with business leaders to develop strategies, evaluate opportunities, and provide clear and concise recommendations based on comprehensive analysis
Investigate underlying business trends and identify problem areas prior to trend development
Deliver presentations to leadership for measurement, analysis, and improvement
Formulate and deliver insights around business problems in a detailed and persuasive manner
Provide analytical support to business partners, highlighting findings with measurable solutions
Multi-task competing ad hoc requests and demands, requiring the ability to quickly shift focus as necessary
Experience & Qualifications
5+ years in a Business Analyst or similar role required
5+ years SQL required
Ability to interpret, draw insights, and formulate recommendations with large datasets
Tableau or similar data visualization software experience required
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to establish trust and strong working relationships with business partners
Thrives in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
B.S., M.S. in Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance or MBA
