What you will do:
This role will be responsible for partnering with the Stryker Healthcare Systems (HCS) business at all levels to define, document, and implement solutions to address data warehousing, process, and reporting needs as it applies to commercial, government, and both direct and indirect sales and pricing. This role is responsible for the ongoing development, administration, maintenance, support, and enhancement of HCS's ETL, data warehousing, and custom end user applications.
Designs and implements custom coded software and database solutions to support end user interfaces, reporting, and analytics
Creates automated testing code to support platform stability and meet overall organizational code coverage requirements
Coordinates the verification and validation of software features through QA and UAT testing
Leads root cause analysis of technical issues reported by users
Leads technical analysis of requirements for new feature development
Generates technical documentation of new and existing software functionality
Leads project team in solution design review meetings
Designs and implements custom system and data integration solutions to support process automation and reporting needs
Tracks progress and reports status and issues to project managers and user groups
Provides development estimates to aid in work prioritization and production release scheduling
Develops relationships with other technical staff to share knowledge and support on enterprise systems development
Trains and mentors more junior team members in software and database development knowledge and methods
Remains up-to-date on latest software development technologies and methodologies
Builds and fosters relationships with HCS leadership, business users, stakeholders, and partners; understands their roles, key drivers for success
Builds consensus by influencing others to drive progress and contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.
Proactively guides the business towards optimal solutions that find balance between desired capabilities and required timelines
Builds expertise in the business areas related to the requirements and solution definition; understands the business processes involved and key drivers for success.
Maintains expertise in the systems and data involved for the solution, including the definitions, source(s), related business processes and downstream system usage.

What you need:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or equivalent with min 6 years of data engineering or data warehousing, and data analytics experience OR Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related discipline with 4 years of experience
Proficient in complex IT systems, ERP or CRM experience (SAP preferred, Oracle, JDE, SalesForce)
Experience with SAP BW, SAP S/4 HANA reporting modules desired
Proficient in Enterprise relational database systems, database development, and/or data warehousing experience (Microsoft SQL Server preferred)
Proficient in system and data integration tools and methodology (SSIS preferred)
Proficient with programming languages (Python and R preferred)
Proficient in data modelling, reporting, and data collection methods (Microsoft Power Platform - PowerApps, PowerBI, Power Automate, O365 SharePoint preferred)
Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
Deep understanding of data management, data science, reporting/analytics possibilities, capabilities, processes, and strategy
Demonstrated ability to understand needs and communicate effectively with Senior Management
Must be able to generate, explain, and present detailed schedules, objectives, reports, and other documentation accurately
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration and persuasion, rather than relying entirely on command and control.
