We are hiring a Director of Product Management to lead this team and its portfolio of investments in Data Platforms, Governance, Analytics systems and Customer Data.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced product leader to reinvent our data platforms and accelerate its adoption by product and business teams within Zillow. This role provides the opportunity to partner with and positively impact every single team within Zillow!
As a Director of Product Management, you will:
Drive strategy for our data platforms
Coordinate implementation and adoption by teams that produce and consume data
Lead the programs end-to-end and define, track, and communicate metrics that help us understand how well they are meeting objectives.
Develop and support a culture of innovation, where teams constantly test new ideas.
Grow a team of hardworking product management professionals.
Who you are
Outstanding strategic and analytical abilities
A collaborative working style with a strong focus on execution and results
A highly analytical approach, with proven experience using data to drive step-change results
Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to think big and move fast
Ability to work across organizations to deliver shared success
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to keep others informed and up-to-date; able to coordinate/prioritize
Experience partnering with engineering teams to deliver products
Demonstrated ability in leading teams. A passion for mentoring and growing the potential of others
10+ years of experience in some combination of strategy, product or program management
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field (Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred)
