The Associate Vice President of Product Management will champion the strategy, execution, and revenue growth for SNHU portfolio of programs and products, helping achieve and maintain high levels of engagement and business growth. Reporting to our Vice President for Product Development, you will build, lead, manage, and mentor a team of product managers. You will translate the business strategy and vision from our leadership team into execution-ready product strategy for your team, and will partner with leaders across SNHU to ensure we’re achieving our vision cohesively, effectively, and in a way that creates confidence in our ability to deliver high engagement product experiences that students purchase. You’ll serve as a key leader driving our product roadmap and delivery and will ensure the ongoing health and quality of our programs and products.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Help shape the future of digital higher education by building and delivering delightful, engaging, intuitive products.
Influence the product roadmap as we evolve our product and program suite.
Approach product creation with an agile mindset and be passionate about creating best in class programs and products for SNHU’s next generation learner
Lead and mentor a product team that is as passionate as you are about creating best in class learner experiences
Create metrics that help us understand the behavior and experience of our learners and use those to make data driven decisions for future enhancements.
Evaluate, prioritize and respond to requests for new products and programs.
Maintain a detail-oriented mindset while innovating new solutions to existing problems.
Problem-solve existing challenges and anticipate potential future issues.
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Produce quality work while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
Grow and develop your own team and be a mentor to product managers and teammates.
Attendance, punctuality, reliability and onsite presence are essential functions of this role

Bachelor's degree in related field: Computer Science degree preferred
Background in Education Technology
8-10 years of Product Management experience, and a deep understanding of software development
5+ years in a leadership role
Strong understanding of how to lead lean and agile product development
Strong analytical skills
A rare ability to identify signal from noise, focusing on the most impactful decisions in a customer-facing context
Demonstrated the ability to develop deep empathy with our customers
A love of education and helping learners realize their full potential
Masters Degree in related field preferred
Typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with flexibility to meet business demands as needed.
