The Role As the part of TV Operating System (TVOS) team, that is responsible for SetTopBox middleware, you will improve, extend and maintain the team’s build and integration system. You will be working with a highly skilled and motivated team, utilising best software development practices and Agile software development process. You will work with and contribute to various Open Source Software and proprietary internal solutions.
Responsibilities: · Owning, designing, evolving team’s various build systems · Looking after mission critical continuous integration release systems · Developing the existing infrastructure to improve software quality and efficiency of the team · Extending continuous integration solutions for future projects ·   Evaluation and adoption of relevant technologies (CMake, GMock, GTest, Coverity, etc…)

Technical skills & experience required:

    • Toolchains, compilers, build systems such as Buildroot, Yocto or Open Embedded.
    • Continuous Integration (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, travisCI, Pipelines, etc)
    • Current best practices and tools
    • Ability to take ownership of the release process; striving for automation
    • Linux Operating Systems (*nix, CentOS, Debian, RedHat)
    • Scripting Languages (Python, Bash, Groovy or Ruby)
    • Source Control (Git, Mercurial, Bazaar)
    • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS or Puppet)

Technical skills & experience desired:

    • Knowledge of C/C++ software development
    • Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, Stash)
    • Test Frameworks (Unit tests, PyUnit, JUnit, XUnit, etc)
