We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our CI/CD team within our Cloud Infrastructure Engineering division. CIE ensures the continuous availability of the technologies and systems that are the foundation of athenahealth’s services. We are directly responsible for thousands of servers, petabytes of storage, and handling thousands of web requests per second, all while sustaining growth at a meteoric rate. We enable an operating system for the medical office that removes administrative complexity, leaving doctors free to practice medicine.  But enough about us; let’s talk about you. 
  
You are a DevOps engineer with experience defining, implementing and supporting deployment, delivery and monitoring capabilities for its On Premise and Cloud operations. Experienced in systems and services-based architectures with strong communication skills, team oriented with motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. You will work with other teams to ensure a coherent, forward looking product features. You will be partnering with senior business and product leadership to do great things. Ultimately your work will focus on improving corporate operations performance resulting great clinical outcomes.

We are relentless in automating manual, repetitive work so we can focus on projects that help move the business forward. 
  
Job Responsibilities 

  • Build CI/CD pipeline including Infrastructure and Environment Provisioning, Deployment and Monitoring tools that will support, enhance and grow a true DevOps model 

  • Create automation scripts, UI’s, and continuous delivery pipeline that enhance and expand our CI/CD services 

  • Participate and contribute towards global DevOps Release planning events 

Typical Qualifications 

  • 1 or more years of experience with Azure DevOps and its tools for work item management, source code management, CI pipeline management, test case management, etc.  

  • 1 or more years of experience with PowerShell writing reusable scripts for automation automating manual, repetitive tasks  

  • Exposure to other tools like JIRA, Rally, GIT, etc., preferred  

  • Experience with Python preferred
