Responsibilities

Who you are

The Director of Project Management (Global) - PMO role reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer. This position will lead the PMO office, lead a team of project managers and drive both internal product streams as well as strategic projects.

In this role you will wear many hats but your skills will be especially essential in the following:  

  • Create PMO guidelines
  • Develop PMO processes and procedures
  • Develop and lead the PMO team
  • Collaborate with the project team to assign, prioritize and track project tasks
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and manage project risks
  • Draft agendas for and lead cross-functional team meetings focusing on defining and tracking key project milestones and deliverables
  • Draft and maintain complete project timelines
  • Ensure projects follow internal Stage-Gate process for Product and Platform streams
  • Provide project status updates to Senior Management on a regular basis
  • Drive the Engineering and Product delivery KPIs
  • Document meeting summaries, key decisions, and action items
  • Follow up regularly with team members for status updates
  • Identify project issues and risks early and work with stakeholders on solutions to minimize impacts to schedule and budget.
  • Manages communication with external and internal stakeholders 
  • Coordinate with each functional team on resource planning and change management

Qualifications

What you bring to the team

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer, you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • Bachelor's Degree required (Engineering, Science, Management or related discipline), Masters/MBA degree preferred
  • 7+ years working experience with 4+ years' experience in Project Management, 2+ years of management experience
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies, Agile best practices, tools, and best-known practices
  • Successful track record building Program Management teams driving technical and our programs specially leading cross-functional teams to create quarterly road mapping and capacity planning.
  • Focus on outcomes vs output, ability to help make trade-offs on scope, priority, and resources.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple functions to achieve desired goals.
  • Comfortable and enjoys working in a dynamic fast-paced environment, a fast-growing organization and working with 500+ engineers and 30+ global teams/projects.
  • Proficient in different tools and methodologies to organize, manage progress and report.
  • Experience leading PMO office, in technology organizations is a plus.
  • Experience in healthcare domain is a plus.
